(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The OPEC daily basket price went up by USD 1.87 to USD 58.88 a barrel Thursday, compared with USD 57.01 the previous day, the cartel said here on Friday.
The monthly average of the OPEC basket price hit USD 52.46 a barrel in March, compared with USD 54.06 a barrel in February, it said.
The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venez).
