Las Vegas real estate website Homes By Leslie is reporting that the southern Nevada real estate market is poised for a break out year in 2015 after a long dramatic crash that saw the market become one of the hardest hit in the country due to the mortgage crisis and economic recession.
“The market is specifically strong for first-time homebuyers and bounce back buyers. The market is stable prices are still low and interest rates are very low. Those are all three great metrics for people looking to buy a home” said Homes By Leslie owner and local realtor Leslie Hoke.
“It’s been about seven years since the market reached the absolute bottom. A lot of people lost homes and declared bankruptcy. Now they’re ready to bounce back because those blemishes on their credit reports are now gone. I think people who were negatively affected are now ready financially and psychologically to make the leap into home ownership again” said Hoke.
