Tunisia signs USD106.31m loan with European Commission


(MENAFN) The government of Tunisia is set to receive USD106.31 million loan from the European Commission who approved the payment on behalf of the EU, Kuwait News Agency reported.

The sum comprises the first portion of a total of USD318.9 million allocated in the Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) program in dedication to the Tunisian government.

"Europe is living up to its commitment to Tunisia." An EU Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs said, adding that the money is going to help Tunisia persevere its fiscal limitations.
