Saudi- Govt to build 25500 more apartments
(MENAFN- Arab News) The Housing Ministry has announced that it will construct 25500 additional housing units in various cities across the Kingdom with the aim of easing the acute housing shortage.
The ministry revealed that it has now completed the marketing for all of the apartments that are part of housing project located to the northwest of King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh. Buyers have been given the freedom of selecting the developers builders and the models of their houses a statement from the ministry said on Saturday.
The statement added that work on another housing development project that involves 14500 residential apartments in Madinah Jeddah Dammam and Qatif is already under way.
The ministry encouraged local developers to collaborate with multinational companies that maintain good reputations to make contract bids for the development of the housing projects in the coming months.
