Kuwait pays USD15m to back Palestinian budget

(MENAFN) The government of Kuwait paid a total of USD15 million to aid the Palestinian Authority's (PA) reformations and growth-recovery program, according to sources, Kuwait News Agency reported.

Through the grant, the Kuwaiti government aims at reviving the Palestinian reforms and help to sustain the Palestinian Authority's deficit in budget, specifically in education, health care and services.

"Kuwait is always committed to improve the living conditions of the Palestinian people, and support the development of a balanced Palestinian economy," Kuwait's Ambassador to the US said.
