KFAED chief, Tanzania's FM discuss bilateral cooperation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Means of boosting cooperation between the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and Tanzania were the focus of talks held here on Tuesday.

Visiting Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Bernard Membe and KFAED Director General Abdulwahab Al-Bader also discussed projects financed by the Fund in the east African country.

The meeting was attended by KFAED's Regional Director for West African countries Thamer Al-Failakawi, and Assistant Regional Director for Central, Eastern and Southern Africa countries Fawaz Al-Adsani, the KFAD said in a statement.

Over the past years, the KFAED offered Tanzania 12 loans totaling KD 26 (USD 60 million).

Membe is leading a high ranking delegation to bolster bilateral ties with Kuwait in all fields.
