Brighton and Hove City UK – April 12 2015 – In the world of gaming a new and exciting platformer is emerging into the market with zany 3D puzzles and shooter capabilities! This game is called “Escape from BioStation.” Created by Rich Baker a graduate in computer science. Development is underway; However he needs funding to fully complete the long awaited project. Rich has turned to the Kickstarter community to raise £1000 by May 21st 2015.

This humorous and fun to play game aims to bring audiences into a new world in space. There are challenges and exciting adventures around every corner. The game is broken up into manageable levels that will either have a traditional sci-fi theme or “biodome” decks to keep players engaged at all times. “Escape from BioStation” harkens back to the old arcade games from the early nineties and eighties so offers some nostalgia but whilst also offering something refreshing and new gamers will appreciate.

Players play as a robot on an arc in space that is inhabited by squirrels and robots. Some bots are good and others are not. As the individual explores the bio station the realization that the place is doomed prompts the player to escape and get all of the squirrels to escape pods before it is too late. In the game players will be allowed to shoot stuff with the help of the friendly squirrels and their infinite supply of acorns to protect themselves from evil robots.

Each puzzle the gamer encounters will be different and goes beyond relying on one simple mechanic to keep it interesting throughout the entire game play. There are chances to collect rewards and solve extra puzzles as a way to gain fun bonuses. Players will also have free reign exploring space and the bio station. There will be a strong story element that will also accompany the many laughs found in the game.

Those wishing to help make this game possible and get it released this year can do so by making a contribution to the Kickstarter campaign or clicking here.

Funds will go towards paying for 3D models music licenses and distribution. A supporting website will also be developed and the game will be made available on Steam Mac Linux and Windows. Backers can choose from many exclusive rewards as a “thank you” for the support.

This is an “all-or-nothing” deal which means if the goal is not reached then it can be years before “Escape the Bio Station” can be released. So know that a donation of any amount counts. Please share this on Facebook Twitter and other social networks. Let other game lovers know about the new and exciting 3D puzzle platform that will be releasing this year!
