Indian Gujarat tourism calls for management services to improve its restaurants


(MENAFN- KNN India) As a part of development of tourism initiative across the state, the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited (TCGL) has proposed to improve operations of its undertaking restaurants in the state.

It will soon be appointing a consultant who will help in the selection of management operator for wayside amnesties and cafeteria owned by the corporation.

The management operator will be responsible for deploying adequate number of qualified and experienced persons like supervisors, cooks, waiters and attendants to ensure efficient and high standards of services.

"The operations of restaurant including the kitchen, stores and other food handling areas should be as per the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSA) 2006, Food Safety and Standards Rules 2010 and various Food Safety and Standards regulations as applicable from time to time," said a statement.

In this context TCGL is inviting bids from experienced owners and operators of hotels and restaurants to be a service provider.

TCGL provides comprehensive travel assistance and services to the tourists coming to visit Gujarat. Some of its services include accommodation, conducted tours and ground transport with a wide range of choice to meet diverse needs.

The corporation has a network of 18 accommodation units and 5 Cafeterias under the brand name Toran. (KNN/ST)
