Ooredoo Oman posts USD27.69m profit in Q1


(MENAFN) Ooredoo Oman posted USD27.69 million profit in the first quarter of 2015, marking 22 percent rise over the USD22.7 million made in the corresponding period a year ago, Reuters reported.

The Sultanate's second-best telecom operator also announced an increased numbers of subscribers and posted revenues of USD153.48 million in the first quarter against USD136.4 million a year ago.

The decent results are due to the sturdy investments that the firm's had endeavored, in the past few years, concerning its network expansions, according to Ooredoo's chief executive.
