(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Date set for talks to begin at undisclosed location on hammering out final deal with Tehran over its nuclear activity, Iranian minister says.
Representatives from Iran, EU and major world powers will convene on April 21 to begin drafting the text of a permanent agreement in their nuclear negotiations, the Iranian foreign minister has said.
Mohammad Javad Zarif's remarks came on Tuesday during a conference with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo and Javier Solana, the former EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security policy in Madrid, Spain.
"Nuclear negotiations between Iran and the world powers will resume on April 21 at the level of deputies and experts," the minister said, according to Iran's official news agency IRNA.
Iran and the P5+1 countries - U.S., Russia, Britain, France, China, plus Germany - reached a framework deal on April 2 in the Switzerland on Iran's nuclear activities and are aiming to reach an agreement before a final deadline to the talks set on July 1.
The minister also said the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Federica Mogherini, would also take part in the upcoming talks.
No further information was given as to where the talks would be held.
