UAE Cultural Advisor in UK visits Excellent Students Forum in Dublin


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Cultural Attache of the UAE Embassy in the UK, visited the Arab-European Forum for Distinguished Students, which was held from March 31st to April 12th in Dublin, Ireland, at the invitation of the Global Science Club, which operates under the auspices of the Arab League to provide support and assistance for Arab high achievers and innovators.

The Forum was established to embody the initiative of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to make 2015 the Year of Innovation, and to meet the recommendations of the 3rd Government Summit in Dubai, which called for the encouragement of interaction between communities and peoples.

Al Mazrouei attended events on Friday, April 10th, which were held at the Embassy building, where he and Dr. Saeed Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Ireland, met the outstanding students and praised their excellence which gave them the opportunity to visit Ireland and benefit from the Forum.

They also introduced the high achievers in UAE history, which is rich in civilisation and science, and the role of its leadership in putting the country among the ranks of developed countries. They also urged the excellent students to be the ammunition of the UAE for progress, growth, and prosperity in order to maintain its leadership position.

At the end of the event, Al Mazrouei expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Ambassador and the Embassy staff for their hospitality and organisation, and paid tribute to the continued promotion of activities that will develop relations for the benefit of the UAE.
