FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fishers IN (April 13 2015) - The American Hunting Lease Association (AHLA) a leading provider of hunting lease insurance and an advocate for both hunters and landowners has announced it is now providing liability insurance policies for the 2015 hunting season through their website aHuntingLease.org. Policies are available to AHLA members only but a membership can be included with a policy purchase for $29.95.

Hunting lease liability insurance is a type of insurance that protects both landowners and the hunters that use their property in the event of liability related issues. Such issues could range from personal injuries from such things as slips and falls; to injuries related to hunting accidents; to property damage caused by hunters and their guests. Without a liability insurance policy in place both landowners and hunters are exposed to the potential of significant monetary loss in the event of an unfortunate incident.

A policy can be purchased by either the landowner or the hunters seeking the lease. Hunters should be aware that more landowners these days are requiring through written terms in their leases that hunters have insurance in place prior to the commencement of any hunting. In some cases a lease will not even be offered until hunters can prove they are willing to provide liability insurance.

The AHLA says that its policies are affordable enough that no hunter or landowner should go without proper coverage. A good policy can be had for just a couple hundred dollars in most cases. Even larger properties exceeding 2000 acres can be covered at current rates of just $.15 per acre. Landowners and hunters can learn more about the insurance offered by the AHLA by visiting their website or contacting the organization directly.
