(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) A number of Palestinians suffered temporary asphyxiation Monday in clashes with Israeli security forces in Shuafat neighborhood in East Jerusalem, eyewitnesses have said.
According to witnesses, the violence erupted when Israeli troops raided a Palestinian home in the area.
Israeli forces fired teargas and stun bombs at Palestinian protesters.
The Central Court in Jerusalem, meanwhile, issued charges against two Palestinian youths from al-Issawiya district in East Jerusalem for alleged links with Palestinian faction Hamas and planning attacks against Israelis.
Israeli police accuse Hamas of attempting to incite tensions in Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank by encouraging attacks against Israelis.
