GCC condemns N. Sinai terrorist bombings


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani strongly condemned on Monday the terrorist bombings that took place in the northern Sinai, which led to the killing and wounding of a number of Egyptian soldiers and security forces.

Al-Zayani described, in a press release, the bombings as heinous crimes which are incompatible with all laws, ethics, and human values, stressing on GCC solidarity with Egypt which stands firmly in the face of violations and organized heinous crimes.

GCC Chief expressed offered his condolences to the victims' families and the government of Egypt, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

At least 14 people, mostly security personnel, were killed and scores were injured in three separate attacks on Northern Sinai governorate.
