India Karnataka minister assures building of helipads at industrial areas


(MENAFN- KNN India) Karnataka Small Industries Minister Sathish Jarakiholi on Sunday said measures will be taken to build helipads at the industrial areas in the state.

Presiding over the progress review meeting at the Government Guest House here, Jarakiholi said that a survey of sick industries is planned. It could be taken up with the help of non-governmental organisations. Divisional level industrial adalats will be conducted next month.

The minister warned the officials against setting up factories on government lands but acquire private lands for the purpose.

If gomala (cattle grazing areas) are acquired for the purpose, the cattle will left with no space to graze, he added.

Jarakiholi also assured the delegation all the demands following a memorandum submitted by Mysore Industries Association Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain and Mysore District Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Association President Jayachandra Urs.

The demands will be addressed in a phased manner. In this connection a state level meeting will be called shortly, he said.
