Israeli minister pledges to open Mount Ebal to settlers
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Israeli Housing Minister Uri Ariel, pledged to enable settlers to reach the summit of Mount Ebal in Nablus in order to perform their religious rites, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said on Sunday.
During his visit to the mountain's summit on Saturday, the minster confirmed that he will coordinate with the army to allow settlers to perform their rituals atop the summit, claiming the mountain is a holy place for Jews.
The Israeli occupation authorities constructed a large camp on Mount Ebal's summit many years ago.
