(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Funeral prayers for 13 labourers shot dead by terrorists in Turbat were offered in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday morning, while the funeral prayers of seven slain workers was offered in different areas of Tharparkar and Badin.
Gunmen riding bicycles had killed 20 workers when they opened fire on a labour camp in Turbat around 1:30AM on Saturday.
The murdered labourers belonged to different areas of Sindh and Punjab provinces and were working on a bridge at the Sohrab Dam in Gagdan area in southern Balochistan.
A senior administration official said the labourers were lined up and shot after the terrorists asked for their identity.
The official said that security personnel guarding the camp had fled when confronted by a large number of attackers.
