Qatari Amir, Turkish Pres. discuss regional issues
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani discussed with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan by phone on Friday night the latest developments in the Middle East region. The conversation, initiated by President Erdogan, also reviewed the bilateral ties in several areas, QNA news agency reported.
During Erdogan's last visit to Doha last September, the two countries set up a supreme council for strategic cooperation co-chaired by the two heads of state.
