Saudi Dyar, Thailand's Dusit sign joint venture deal


(MENAFN) Dusit Thani Group, the Bangkok-based hotel and resort company, signed a joint venture deal with Saudi Dyar Hotels and Resorts in hopes of expanding its business in the Gulf, according to statements, Saudi Gazette reported.

The deal is meant for hotel management services and the new company will operate in Shariah-compliant manner. Three other projects are set onto the new firm's list and one of them is set to be situated in Jeddah under Dusit Thani label.

The other two will be situated in Jeddah and Doha and set to go under the label dusitD2. Another five property projects are also set under discussions for now and said to be located in Makkah and Madinah, the cities that comprise the biggest tourism market in Saudi.
