(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today attained its title as champion of the 15th GCC track and field tournament held at Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Sports city in Qatif, eastern region of the Kingdom.
Scoring five gold, eleven silver and seven bronze medals throughout the tournament, Saudi Arabia ranked first, Qatar with 14 medals came second, Kuwait with 11 took the third place, Bahrain, the fourth with six medals, ahead of Oman which occupied the same number but less in type of medals and the UAE in the last place with two medals.
