(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Preventive Security Department personnel, on Saturday, arrested an arms dealer in Zarqa governorate, northeast of Amman, and seized weapons, gunpowder and a machine used to manufacture gun parts.
The Public Security Department (PSD)'s Media Center said that its prevention security unit in Zarqa received a tip about a suspect involved in trafficking and manufacturing weapons and related equipment. After confirming this person's involvement in such illegal acts, the team raided his house and arrested him.
After searching the house, six pistols and pump-action rifles were found there in addition to quantities of spare parts for weapons, machinery used to manufacture spare parts and one kilogram of gunpowder.
