Osorios Latin Fusion Announces Their Next Wine Pairing Dinner

(MENAFNEditorial)

Summary: Recognized as one of the most innovative restaurants in the area Osorio’s Latin Fusion restaurant continues their popular monthly wine pairing dinner partnering in April with Bonterra Organic Wines.

April 9 2015 Appleton WI-Having only been in business for three years Osorio’s Latin Fusion has established itself as one of the leaders in the Appleton dining scene. One of their more popular features has been running a monthly wine pairing dinner. These events allow customers to experience meals they might not be familiar with as well as being introduced to award-winning wines that in many cases are new to the marketplace. April’s wine pairing dinner to be held on the 16th will showcase selections from Bonterra Organic Wines.

“We are very excited to have Mark Goldsberry Regional Manager for Fetzer Vineyards & Bonterra here to present these fantastic wines” said Kim Finnell one of three owners of the restaurant. “Chef Liborio will of course be presenting the delectable organic dishes he has created to complement and/or enhance the fantastic flavors of the Bonterra wines.”

Each selection of the four-course meal has been designed to match with a wine selected from the vineyard. Some of the pairings include a Bone-in Pork with Lemongrass Caper Sauce paired with Sauvignon Blanc and Salmon topped with Agave-Ginger-Pear Sauce paired with Zinfandel. Finnell says the appeal of these wine dinners is not just an Appleton dining experience most people never get to have but they also broaden the appeal of the restaurant.

“People hear ‘Latin fusion’ and they are not really sure what to expect” Finnell added. “These dinners are a comfortable introduction to what our restaurant is all about.” Dinner begins at 7:00pm on April 16th.  Previous dinners have all sold out ahead of time so it is imperative that interested diners make their reservations as soon as possible. “The last few dinners we have had to turn away almost as many people as we have been able to serve unfortunately. But that kind of popularity is a good problem to have!”

Featuring Latin and International cuisine Osorio's Latin Fusion offers casual fine dining with a flair for the creative. Many recipes come from Osorio's family book while some of the more progressive dishes have been created in the kitchen of the restaurant itself. As a family restaurant a full children's menu is available along with an entire selection of gluten-free creations for the dietary conscious diner.
