Dusty weather forecast today, drop in temperatures over weekend


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Dusty and dry weather conditions is expected on Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom, while temperatures will be around their annual average.

According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds will gradually build up in the afternoon, creating partly cloudy conditions with scattered showers in the northern regions.

A drop in temperatures is expected on Friday, becoming 5-6 degrees below their seasonal average .Therefore, it will be relatively cold and partly cloudy to cloudy with light rain in the northern and central regions and westerly moderate winds.

On Saturday, temperatures will remain below their annual average and the weather will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and mild in other parts of the country, the JMD added.

Winds will be westerly brisk to southwesterly moderate with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for showers in the northern and central regions.

Temperatures for today in Amman will reach a high of 21 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees at night.
