Saudi online tourism sales hit USD1.73b in 2015


(MENAFN) Online tourism sales to Saudi Arabian occupants witnessed a tremendous 40 percent growth in 2014, leading to an accumulated sum of around USD1.73 billion in 2015, Saudi Gazette reported.

The Saudi Arabian government forecasts that the figure is set to double by 2019, hitting USD3.46 billion. The UAE stands as the most favorite location for Saudi to visit in 2014.

Saudi enjoys being the ME leader with regard to the figure of Internet users, reaching 8.5 million in 2014. The Kingdom is ranked as the third country with regard to of smartphone ownership.
