(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ezdan Hotels, a subsidiary of the Ezdan Holding Group, launched the 200-seater Althuraya Restaurant, which features an oriental design that blends tradition with modernity.
Althuraya Restaurant, located on the fourth floor in Ezdan Hotels Towers, will be open from 11am to 11pm. There are already on the same floor swimming pools for adults and children, a number of restaurants, a sport café, and a Game Zone room including billiards, darts, tennis table, and foosball.
Deputy Group CEO Nasser Mohamed al-Abdulla described Althuraya as an excellent addition to Ezdan's series of restaurants that feature diverse choices of world cuisine with the best chefs to cater to meet all tastes and cultures.
Ezdan Hotels group general manager Hasib Kayali said that the name 'Althuraya' (Chandelier) was chosen for the new restaurant as an expression of its luxurious and traditional decoration, in an attractive oriental setting.
The menu will include distinctive eastern side dishes, and a unique variety of Arabic, Asian and European dishes to suit all tastes. The restaurant, which has wooden ceilings and fine oriental decoration, will also have a dedicated area for families, an indoor part and an outdoor area.
Ezdan Hotels has up to 3,000 hotel rooms in Ezdan Towers Dafna. The company is working on the last phase of Ezdan Palace Hotel on Al Shamal Road. The 200 room hotel will be of international standards.
