Syracuse NY – On March 28 2015 Simtex Inc. launched a Kickstarter campaign for The Hanging Towel their new patented collection of bamboo bath towels with an integrated hanging loop to prevent your towel from falling on the floor.
“With two teenage daughters and only one small bathroom we seemed to have towels everywhere. We all know that most towels don't stay on hooks so because yet another towel fell off its hook it needs to be washed again” say founders Susan and Ron Blake "We wanted to offer our customers a high quality product that will last for many years our first prototypes are still in excellent shape after two years of use."
The Hanging Towel concept went into development in December 2012 and the first prototype was manufactured in 2013. The founders have since filed for a patent and conducted some market research which lead to favorable results. The Hanging Towel set offered during this Kickstarter campaign will come in three different sizes (washcloth hand and bath) and the initial color choices are khaki white and light blue.
"Bamboo is becoming a popular manufacturing resource because of its renewable properties” the creators explain “In order to ensure customer satisfaction we have selected a spa quality bamboo towel to start our collection. This luxurious towel is top of the line and will give you many years of use.”
In exchange for pledging to the project backers can gain access to a variety of The Hanging Towel products including two washcloths for $18 one washcloth and a hand towel for $25 a bath towel for $30 (all in a choice of 3 colors) and more! Backers can also receive one set for the early bird price of $45 or two sets for the early bird price of $80.
For those who are already excited about The Hanging Towel the creators have announced that “Future plans to introduce a larger variety of colors are in the works. We will also be extending The Hanging Towel to include Beach and Kitchen lines.”
