Orlando FL - April 8 2015 - Marriage is something that many people are afraid of nowadays. However it is also something that most people are looking forward to in their lifetime. There are actually many benefits of getting married especially among men.

Research showed marriage can reduce inflammation risk in men. According to the researchers from the University of Arizona marriage is so good for the male population that it seems to be more beneficial than smoking cessation.

The Psychosomatic Medicine journal has published a study that used 1715 individuals between the ages of 58 and 85 years old as subjects. The study was conducted to measure the C-reactive protein levels in their bodies. C-reactive protein is a significant marker of body-wide inflammation and is produced by the liver. Doctors often recommend a blood test to see the C-reactive protein level of a patient in order to diagnose certain kinds of inflammatory arthritis.

“There were many research studies revealing that the rise of C-reactive protein in blood levels has been associated with the development of heart attacks strokes and cardiovascular disease” said VitaBreeze Supplements spokesperson Michelle O’Sullivan.

According to the researchers married men appeared to have lower C-reactive protein than unmarried men. They also had lower C-reactive protein (CRP) levels compared to unmarried or married women. It was also found that married men were 44 percent less likely to be categorized in the high risk CRP group.

David Sbarra PhD from the University of Arizona is the director of clinical training in the Department of Psychology. He has stated that being married provides the same benefits for blood pressure as being a non-smoker. It is also interesting to note that marriage seemed to have a dramatic positive impact in men and didn't affect the levels of C-reactive protein in women at all.

It was also found that marriage had potentially reduced the risk of developing heart ailments by more than 10 percent in men. This benefit is also obtained by those who maintain a healthy weight.

Inflammation can affect many parts of the body and when it happens in the joints it is called arthritis. Men who suffer from arthritis often experience a lot of pain and it gets even worse when the pain hinders them from working. However there are many arthritis patients who are finding natural ways to manage their joint pain. One of the most popular natural alternatives is a glucosamine supplement (http://www.amazon.com/Glucosamine-Sulfate-Chondroitin-Supplement-Turmeric/dp/B00DUMO9X4/).
