Border guards receive 94 new Syrian refugees into Jordan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A total of 94 Syrian refugees from various age groups, entered the Kingdom through various crossing points during the past 72 hours, the Jordan Armed Forces said on Wednesday .

In addition to the guards' duties of protecting the borders and preventing infiltration and smuggling operations, they provided the new comers with necessary assistance before transferring them to refugee camps, the Directorate of Moral Guidance said in a statement .

The Jordanian Royal Medical Services' personnel administered first aid to refugee patients through their medical centers at the borders.
