Jordan Lower House, International Parliament ink cooperation agreement
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Lower House speaker Atef Tarawneh, Wednesday, and the Vice President of the Italy-based International Parliament for Safety and Peace (IPSP), Alfredo Maiolese, signed a joint cooperation agreement on Wednesday.
The agreement aims at easing the participation of legislatures in forums, seminars related to human rights, supporting peace, countering-terrorism, promoting democracy and women and children rights, in addition to cooperating with other parliaments in the spheres included in the agreement.
The IPSP is a non-profit organization working under the supervision of the UN and has representative offices in Italy.
