Saudi's Jarir Marketing posts USD65.9m net profit in Q1


(MENAFN) Jarir Marketing, one of Saudi prime retailers, recorded USD65.9 million net profit in the first quarter of the year, marking a 22.7 percent increase year-on-year, Reuters reported.

The profit of 2015 sets against the USD53.63 million recorded in the corresponding period of 2014, according to a bourse statement issued by Saudi company.

The company attributed the profits to sturdy sales in all the segments of its businesses and electronic merchandise in particular. Another reason the firm highlighted was the increased consumer spending.
