(MENAFN- AFP) Europe's main stock markets closed sharply higher on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index jumping 1.88 percent on the day to 6,961.77 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index climbed 1.30 percent to 12,123.52 points, while the CAC 40 in Paris rose 1.52 percent to 5,151.19 points.
