EU increases aid for Syria's Yarmouk camp


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The European Union is providing 2.5 million euros
(2.75 million dollars) in aid to Palestinian refugees in Syria's
Yarmouk camp, in response to a 'dramatically deteriorating'
situation, dpa cited its executive as saying.

'The suffering of civilians in Yarmouk camp is reaching intolerable
levels,' says EU Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Christos Stylianides.
'I strongly urge all parties to the conflict to allow immediate and
unconditional humanitarian access.'
