Bahrain condemns killing of security official in E. Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Bahrain on Monday condemned the terrorist attack that killed a security official and injured several others due to gunshots while conducting a search operation in Al-Awamiya in the province of Qatif, east of Saudi Arabia, where a quantity of weapons were seized.

"Bahrain affirmed its firm supportive stance towards Saudi Arabia, and backing of its actions to deter terrorists and criminals, and consolidate security and stability nationwide", according to an official statement carried by Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

Bahrain reiterated its rejection of all forms of terrorism regardless of its motives and justifications, most importantly its support for all efforts to free the world of terrorism and endorse peace and security, it said.
