Kuwait- Two kilos heroin found with Asian engineer


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 6: Airport Customs have foiled an attempt by an Asian to smuggle two kilos of heroin hidden in a secret place inside his personal belongings said Director General of Kuwait General Administration of Customs Khalid Abdullah Al-Saif on Monday. Al-Saif said in a press statement that the Customs officials at the airport hall suspected an Asian engineer who tried to smuggle heroin inside a secret place in his personal luggage stressing that the Air Customs Administration has the expertise and capabilities supporting the efforts exerted to fight the spread of narcotic substances. He pointed out that the inspectors often receive intensive training courses to enable them deal with such smuggling phenomenon. (KUNA

Woman running call center caught
Farwaniya police officers led by Major General Mohammad Al-Enezi arrested an Ethiopian woman in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh for running an illegal international call center. Acting on a tip-off the officers raided the center where they found the devices that the woman used in her illegal business. She was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action along with the confiscated items.
