Etisalat offers eCloud service giving 10GB personal cloud storage solution for free


(MENAFNEditorial) Etisalat, the UAE's leading telecom operator, announced today the launch of eCloud service, the country's first-of-its-kind personal cloud storage and syncing solution for Etisalat's mobile and fixed line (eLife) customers. Etisalat's eCloud is tailor-made storage service that safeguards customers' personal digital content, and gives them multi-device access anywhere; on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. eLifeTV Set Top Box will soon to be added to the list of devices for eCloud.

As a special treat, customers subscribing to eCloud service will enjoy 10GB of free storage space and exclusive access to music compositions from international artists Nenad Bach and Jill Stevenson. Nenad Bach has performed alongside the likes of Luciano Pavarotti, Bono & The Edge (U2), among others, while Jill Stevenson is a New York based artist popular for her impressive catalogue of original material, which blends elements of folk, R&B, funk, and pop into a hybrid that is uniquely her own.

To register for the eCloud service, customer need to simply visit www.ecloud.ae, enter their Etisalat mobile or eLife account number and install the application on their desktops, laptops and mobile devices, including iOS and Android devices. Furthermore, eCloud customers can subscribe to a special dedicated AED29 monthly mobile data package allowing 1GB of data transfer.

The service is designed to suit each individual's content storage requirement. It caters to families who want to safeguard and share their pictures, entertainment fans who want to access their music and videos around the clock, social media enthusiasts who want to share their media and stay connected with their friends and community, technology lovers with multiple smart devices and working professionals who are always on the move and want their files and contacts synchronized and backed-up.

eCloud allows customers to drag and drop to widget or automatically sync their data. Its 'one search' option lets customers search for content on the web, their cloud storage, local content as well as content from other devices and eLifeTV programs, all at once.
