(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Policemen foiled an attempt to rob the Islamic Bank in Musherfeh on Saturday night, according to a security source at Russeifa Police Directorate.
Security personnel rushed to the scene, following their receiving information that thieves planned to demolish a backyard wall of the bank in a bid to steal money.
The source added that the thieves fled the scene and were not apprehended.
Policemen seized the tools the thieves used in demolishing the bank wall, and discovered fingerprints to assist them in the ongoing investigation, according to the source.
