(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs announced Saturday night that a group of 51 Jordanians have been evacuated from Yemen by land.

The evacuees have arrived earlier this evening in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia en route to Jordan, the Ministry said in a statement, noting that a total of 100 Jordanian nationals left Yemen in the last couple of days.

The Jordanian competent authorities, including the Ministry's operations center and the embassy in Sanaa, will continue working with their Saudi peers to ensure safe evacuation of the rest of Jordanians from Yemen, the statement added.
