GCC officials meet in Riyadh on human rights


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) human rights officials met here on Sunday to discuss a number of topics bearing on human rights regulations and laws.

During their ninth meeting, the officials focused on a unified bill to fight domestic abuses in the GCC member states as a prelude to submitting it to the GCC Ministerial Council for final approval, the GCC's General Secretariat said in a statement.

They also discussed a law on people with special needs and another unified law to protect the rights of crime victims, it added.
