(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Kenyan police have arrested five suspects over a deadly university attack in the northern Garissa town, which left 151 people dead.
"So far, five people have been arrested," Interior Ministry spokesman Mwenda Njoka told The Anadolu Agency on Saturday.
"We have evidence that shows that three of the arrested were coordinators of the attack," Njoka added.
According to the spokesman, three suspects had been detained while trying to flee to neighboring Somalia.
"The other two were arrested early Saturday morning," he said.
The spokesman said that one of the two suspects was a Tanzanian, who was arrested with a university guard while hiding in the ceiling and were in possession of grenades.

Somalia's al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said that two students had been detained for spreading "terror messages" of Al-Shabaab group.
Kenyan police have warned of more attacks in Kenya and called on the public to remain vigilant.
Thursday's attack was the worst Kenya has suffered to date at the hands of Al-Shabaab.
The Al-Qaeda-linked group has vowed to carry out attacks in Kenya as long as the East African country keeps troops in Somalia.
