Birds Force Turkish Plane to Make Emergency Landing in Istanbul


(MENAFN- QNA) A Turkish Airlines domestic flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a flock of birds hit its engines, Turkey's Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
The airplane, which left Istanbul for Izmir with 250 passengers on board, returned safely to Istanbul Ataturk Airport after the bird strike.
The pilot was able to land on the runway without any problem, and the passengers were transferred to another plane.
