Scottish BrewDog posts USD7.26m profit for 2014


(MENAFN) BrewDog, the Ellon-Aberdeenshire-based firm, registered USD7.26 million profits in 2014, marking a 69 percent increase over the USD4.29 million of the previous year, The BBC reported.

The company achieved this tremendous success on a turnover of around USD43.87 million, which marked an increase of 64 percent from the USD26.68 million of 2013.

The firm is said to employ hundreds of people in its hometown of Ellon. Its success accompanied the opening of 12 new bars last year, thus reaching in total to 26.

"2014 was an epic year for BrewDog and the craft beer industry as a whole." The founder of BrewDog said in a statement, adding an announcement of recruiting 130 personal in 2014.
