Kuwait inaugurates USD180m gas plant

(MENAFN) Kuwaiti government announced the opening of a new USD180 million gas plant, with a capacity percentage of around 160 more than the existing Al Shuaiba plant, Arabian Business reported.

The liquefied gas plant covers 150,000 square meters and includes six belowground containers, with an output capacity of 15 million cylinders per year.

Kuwait Oil Tanker Company accredited the plant in 2010 in order to quench the soaring domestic demands for gas over the rapidly increasing population.
