(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Thursday strongly condemned terrorist attacks against Egyptian forces in Northern Sinai Thursday, killing and wounding scores of them.
His Highness the Amir, in a cable to Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi, rejected these "heinous terrorist acts" which target innocent civilians, and undermined security and stability of Egypt.
His Highness the Amir also reaffirmed rejection to all terrorist operations that contravened with faiths and human values, and that Kuwait stood behind the international communit in its fight against terrorism.
His Highness the Amir extended condolences for families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the wounded.
His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to president Al-Sisi extending condolences for the victims of the terrorist attacks.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable.
