Link between Leadership and Emotional Intelligence revealed at DBWC


(MENAFNEditorial) The Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC), the official representative organization for business women, both professionals and entrepreneurs, in the Emirate of Dubai, concluded the three-part 'Leading with Emotional Intelligence' series, welcoming back Rita Rizk, Managing Partner at Tamayyaz, for the third and last part of the series titled 'Linking Emotional Intelligence to Leadership 2'.

"The three-part series with Tamayyaz have provided great knowledge to our members to improve their leadership skills," said HE Dr. Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg, President of DBWC. "Leaders often need to make complex decisions and solve strenuous problems and with the knowledge and skills Rita shared throughout the series, our members have the aptitude to create the best possible solution in their daily roles."

During the last part of the course, which took place over the course of three months, Rita wrapped up the finer details which included: Enabling and building leadership behaviours for high performance; How to use the six thinking hats to solve problems; Points on how to resolve conflicts effectively and developing techniques to manage change while understanding elements of team success.

The DBWC hosts monthly events which provide its members with practical and analytical skills which benefit them on a daily basis in their personal and work life. The next event will be taking place on April 16th with Iqraa (institute that teaches Arabic to children and adults) on "Arabic for Successful business".
