(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Senate's Jordanian Thai Friendship Committee chaired by Senator Adel Tweisi Wednesday met Thailand's ambassador to Jordan Apichart Hetcharatana in an effort to boost relations with the southeast Asian country.
Tweisi indicated the importance of cementing cooperation with Thailand at all levels and expressed Jordan's keenness to promote parliamentary ties with Thailand.
The Thai Ambassador praised the level of cooperation between the two countries, noting that a Memorandum of Understanding will be inked to implement the artificial rain project and to train Jordanian cadres to take advantage of the Thai expertise in this regard.
They also discussed ways to strengthen tourism cooperation highlighting the diverse range of tourism products that the Kingdom offers.
