(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, yesterday attended the Falcon Training programme for Special Security Forces.
The Headquarters of the Special Security Forces, under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior, conducted the training in the Seeh Al Mahab area of Al Dhaid.
Participants stressed that the security and stability of the UAE are the top priorities of the higher leadership as they strive to keep the UAE at the forefront of the world's most stable, secure, and safe countries and to continue on in the quest of development towards more advanced, prosperous, and progressive levels.
The participants valued the support of the higher leadership for the system of police work and for providing such opportunities to the citizens of the UAE to always be able to safeguard the security and national gains of their country. They additionally expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to carry out the higher leadership's vision of providing safety for citizens, residents, and visitors alike to the UAE.
Sheikh Saif toured the accommodation area, which includes a housing camp. He also attended a simulation scenario on the treatment routine of injured people and locating missing persons, and was briefed on the services provided to the injured at the accommodation area. He also toured the Punitive and Correctional Institution's new building, which is currently under construction at the Special Security Forces Headquarters, and was given a detailed overview on the project, which was designed according to highly advanced standards.
His Highness commended the efforts exerted by the participants in training, and urged them to double their efforts in order to further boost security and safety in the country and provide protection and safety to community members.
The training was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Interior, Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai and police Directors-General and chiefs, alongside a number of senior MoI officers.
Colonel Staff Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hajiri, Commander of the Special Security Forces at the Ministry of Interior, said that the Falcon Training fosters and develops the capabilities of the Special Security Forces and advances their performance and abilities according to the best and most advanced standards.
