Qatari Ras Aboud tunnel to be closed for eight hours on Friday
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ras Bu Aboud Tunnel on the Sharq Interchange will be closed for eight hours between 3 and 11 am on Friday.
In a statement, Ashghal said the tunnel will close temporarily for carrying out some inspection works as well as to check and rectify its ventilation, lighting, electrical, and control systems.
Motorists using the carriageway to travel towards Hamad International Airport and Al Wakra via the Ras Bu Aboud Tunnel are being advised to follow the traffic diversion signs to go to the Sharq Interchange, and then take a left turn at the traffic lights.
Ashghal will install the necessary road signs to advise motorists about the works.
