No bomb on Turkish Airlines plane diverted to Casablanca


(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) No explosives were found on a Turkish Airlines plane en route to Sao Paulo, Brazil, which made an emergency landing in Casablanca, Morocco.

The flight, TK15, departed Istanbul with nearly 250 passengers at 7:18 GMT Monday, but was diverted to Casablanca after a note was found on board alleging there was a bomb on the plane.

According to Casablanca airport sources, the Boeing 777 jet departed to Sao Paulo after no explosives were found on the aircraft.

On Sunday, Turkish Airlines flight TK52 from Istanbul to Tokyo, Japan also had to return to Ataturk International Airport after a message reading 'C-4 Cargo' € a reference to an explosive € was discovered.

Another Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Sao Paulo made an emergency landing in Casablanca in January 2014 after an unattended computer was found on board.
