Turkey's March inflation forecast to rise by 0.86 pct


(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) The inflation rate in Turkey for March is expected to increase by 0.86 percent from February's level, according to an Anadolu Agency survey of senior economists.

The rate was predicted to reach between 0.60 percent and 1.30 percent - an average of 0.86 percent, according to estimates made by 21 economists in The Anadolu Agency consumer price inflation survey published on Wednesday.

Economists expect that annual inflation rate in the country will decrease to 7.26 percent in March from 7.55 percent in February of 2015.

Year-end annual inflation is predicted to reach 6.86 percent, up from 6.60 percent according to February's estimate - an average taken from estimates ranging between 8 percent and 5.90 percent.

The Turkish Statistical Institute will release the official inflation figures on Tuesday, April 3.
