Zain Iraq registers USD4.3b revenue in 2014


(MENAFN) Zain Iraq, Zain's grandest subordinate by revenue, registered USD4.3 billion revenue in 2014, accounting for 38 percent of Zain's, the parent, yearly revenues, Reuters reported.

The telecommunication firm, which is operating in eight Mena countries, said that Kuwait Zain was second in contributed revenues of 29 percent. The third is Sudan by 16 percent.

Among the firm's most recent announcements are the appointing of a new chief financial officer and two deputy chief executives, Zain said in a statement. Zain Iraq is the country's foremost mobile operator by subscribers.
